Memory cloud was initially too expensive to be used as footbed or sole in the daily use shoes, but Vandeu made it cheaper by doing some alterations in the cost and its production. Its most common domestic uses were mattresses, pillows and blankets. But in 1970s no one imagined it can also be used in shoes to provide agility, precision and strength to the feet and ankles. Its heat-retaining properties also help some pain sufferers to wear the shoes with comfortability, as the added warmth helps to decrease the pain and gives more strength to the ankles.
